Baihualing is a small town/county located at the border of China and Myanmar in Yunnan province. After reading an article about this location and the wildlife that reside there, I was inspired to visit and see for myself. It is indeed a place for any bird, wildlife and nature lover to visit and admire the true beauty of nature which is well preserved.

I visited in the month of June which is considered as the low season, I had the privilege to get most ponds all by myself, however I didn’t see as many species of birds which I would have seen in peak season. Saying that even during this time I managed to see and photograph over 30 species, most of which I have never seen before.
